Deepak Chahar came to recognition when he picked up eight wickets in an innings during his Ranji Trophy debut. Since then, there has been no looking back for the skillful pacer. Chahar made his IPL debut for Rising Pune Supergiant before spending the next seven years at CSK, where he played the role of a lead bowler, especially in the powerplay. He impressed under the captaincy of Dhoni and received the national call-up in limited-overs cricket. Deepak Chahar has three IPL trophies to his name and will now play for MI after being picked at 9.25 Crore.
